Green Lancaster

Our mega compost pile has arrived! We now own a large pile of compost to help enhance the outdoor and indoor beds down at the Organic Garden. This is all good preparation for the coming growing season when hopefully there will be many a successful crop of vegetables available for all our volunteers! This Wednesday, there will be a session to help move some of this compost down onto the Organic Garden with shovels and wheelbarrows. It’s a great job for a cold winter’s day, and with lots of volunteers, we can have the compost shifted rapidly whilst having a great time too! We will meet at the Green Lancaster office at 13:30 on Wednesday 29th February before heading to the Organic Garden!
