One-off Events

last updated by Jonny on Tue 11th Oct 2011

Green Lancaster has teamed up with some local organisations to offer one-off volunteering opportunities for students. These day long projects will include conservation work at nearby nature reserves and important wildlife areas, as well as other opportunities such as tree planting and maintenance at the campus orchard, offering volunteers a chance to get involved in a green project even if they have limited time, and make a great positive impact on the local habitat!

We have also offered residential volunteering placements, so keep an eye on our website for more information about these over the coming year.

The programme of events for the Michaelmas Term 2011 will be posted here soon. Alternatively please come along to the Green Lancaster introductory talk on Thursday 27th October at 19:15 in the Frankland Lecture Theatre.
