The RSPB’s Leighton Moss Reserve, near Carnforth 12km North of Lancaster, is the largest reedbed in North-West England, home to some really birdies, including the bittern, bearded titand marsh harrier.

Green Lancaster is in the process of placing students in some exciting roles offered at the Reserve. Volunteers are an essential part of the work RSPB does, and are at the heart of what they do and achieve.
Volunteers have the opportunitity to pick between a wide range of placements which are offered at the Reserve including conservation, education, photography, retail assistant and welcome desk volunteer roles.
